Nissan RB - BMW DODGE 8HP90 8HP95 - Bellhousing Kit

A Superior solution for your 8HP Conversion

Designed for Nissan RB engine, the kit allows installation of BMW Dodge/BMW 8HP90, 8HP95 automatic transmissions. By replacing the original transmission bellhousing rather than using a conventional adapter plate, the HPR Superior Bellhousing creates a shorter, more compact drivetrain package with improved transmission tunnel clearance—without the need to modify the factory bellhousing for starter clearance.

Engine fitment: 

• Nissan RB20 / RB25 / RB26 / RB30 / RB32

Transmission fitment:

• BMW 8HP90 Gen 1
• BMW 8HP95 Gen 2
• Dodge Hellcat 8HP90/95
• Dodge 8HP95

Gen 2 transmissions can also be used with the kit, but it requires the usage of a Gen 1 style converter to suit the build length of the billet bellhousing.

Dodge 8HP90 OEM casing has a symmetrically different appearance compared to the BMW 8HP90 casing. Therefore some gaps between OEM housing and billet bellhousing will appear. Some clearancing is required between bellhousing and casing. This has no effect on the function of the product.  

Notes

• Installation must be done by professionals preferably with transmission experience
  

• The kit is only compatible with the Gen 1 flat style converters for BMW and Dodge
  (high tensile bolts for both variations included
  
  

• Nissan RB Pilot for Dodge And BMW converters will need to be modified acc to instructions.
  

• Gen 2 transmissions can also be used with the kit, but it requires the usage of a Gen 1 style converter to suit the build length of the billet bellhousing.

Installation Support:

The general installation procedure and practical steps are the same as for the 8HP70/75/76.

However, the bellhousing cutting dimensions and torque specifications are specific to the 8HP90. Please refer to the dedicated 8HP90 Installation Guideline for the correct cut details, measurements and torque specs.
