
HPR Billet 8HP70/75 E-Hub
The HPR billet E-Hub is machined out of 7075 aluminium, making it the best choice for high horsepower/torgue applications.
Comes with a pre- installed bushing for ease of installation, and are avaliable in 38 or 48 spline variations.

Please confirm that you have the 38 or 48 spline count before purchase.
(Based on HPR,s experience with many N57 BMW 8HP transmissions, it is highly likely that you have the weaker 38 spline if you transmission was made in between 2011 and 2014. We have also seen them in a few 2015 models.)
BMW 8HP70 models from 2016 and all 8HP75 models have the 48 spline.
Vehicles with ZF8HP70 transmissions utilize an "E" hub that is made from weak, cast A380 aluminum. This material is no match for the high torque generated in these applications. The lock splines of the hub are prone to shearing or breaking, resulting in failsafe, ratio codes and loss of movement. In addition, the steel clutch plates dig into the splines on the drum, causing the plates to hang up and burn. This can happen in as few as 20,000 miles.
